Former Prime Minister, David Cameroon promised the people of the United Kingdom, that if re-elected, he would give the people a vote on whether the United Kingdom, wanted to remain   a part of the European Union. The vote was held in 2016, and the majority of people voted to leave the Union.

What followed was years of political tussle and shenanigans , between the ‘Leavers and Remainers’ , which finally resulted in  a general election, the Withdrawal Bill was signed into law by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and with that the United Kingdom will became and independent Island once more, and free to charter her own destiny, at 11pm GMT, 31st January 2020.
