Whose first tale was told in an illustrated letter to Noel Moore, later that same year.
In 1901, Beatrix expanded her story about Peter Rabbit into a book.
But unable to find a buyer she published it herself, for her family and friends.
However in 1902, on the advice of an illustrator L.Leslie Brooke.
Frederick Warne & Co published the very first commercial
edition of ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’.
