This year celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Mr Men and Little Miss children’s book series, written by copywriter Roger Hargreaves, and inspired by his son. The inspiration for the series, came from a simple question: what does a tickle look like? The answer was Mr Tickle, who is one of more than 90 characters.
Today Mr Men and Little Miss characters are illustrated by Roger’s son Adam.
