Description
This year the wonderful Wallace and Gromit, celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Short Animated film, ‘A Grand Day Out’ which was shown on the 4th November at the British Animation Festival in Bristol. The film was created by Nick Park at Aardman Animations in Bristol.
The plot tells the story of Wallace an ardent cheese fanatic, has run out of cheese, and the corner shop, was closed for the Bank Holiday.
Wallace decides to take a trip to the Moon, as ‘everyone knows the moon’s made of cheese. So together with Gromit, the build a rocket in Wallace’s basement and they set off for the Moon.
The coin depicts, Wallace and Gromit in the homemade rocket, peering out of the porthole window.
