In 2017 the Royal Mint issued lovely Piedfort Silver Proof coin,
the brand new issue of the 2017 12 sided new pound coin.
The new 12 sided coin, designed by David Pearce
features the four national floral emblems of the countries
which are the United Kingdom.
The base metal version of the new design is set to be released into general circulation on the 28 March 2017,
it is based on the old 12 sided threepence, which first entered into circulation in 1937.
These beautiful coin is twice the thickness of the normal silver proof
coin so it is nice and chunk. This lovely coin is housed in box , and has been struck
to proof standard, an is accented with fine gold outer
and is supplied numbered Certificate of Authenticity
